Product Care, Warnings & Legal Notice

1. The Nature of Artisan Craftsmanship At Vurante, we celebrate the imperfect beauty of the natural world. Many of our items, including our stoneware and reactive glaze collections, are crafted and finished by hand.

  • Variations: Due to the artisan manufacturing process, slight variations in color, texture, glaze dripping, and size are inherent characteristics of the product, not defects.

  • Color Accuracy: While we make every effort to display the colors of our pieces accurately on our website, the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor and screen settings. We cannot guarantee absolute color accuracy.

2. Safe Usage & Product Care To ensure the longevity of your Vurante pieces and your personal safety, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Thermal Shock: Stoneware and porcelain are sensitive to extreme, sudden temperature changes (thermal shock). Never move a piece directly from the refrigerator or freezer into a hot oven or microwave, and never place a hot dish directly onto a cold countertop or into cold water. Doing so may cause the piece to crack or shatter.

  • Microwave & Dishwasher Use: Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the individual product page, our ceramics are generally dishwasher and microwave safe. However, to preserve the life and finish of your artisan pieces, gentle hand-washing is highly recommended.

  • Oven Safety: Do not use our dinnerware collections for baking or broiling in the oven unless the specific product description explicitly states it is oven-safe. Never place our pieces on a direct flame or stovetop.

3. Food Safety All Vurante dining and serving collections are crafted using non-toxic materials and are thoroughly tested to comply with international food safety standards. Our glazes are lead-free and cadmium-free.

4. Culinary Tools & Sharp Objects If your purchase includes cutlery, knives, or other sharp culinary tools:

  • Handling: Knives and culinary tools are extremely sharp and must be handled with the utmost care and attention.

  • Storage: Keep all sharp objects securely stored and entirely out of the reach of children and pets.

  • Use: Use tools only for their intended culinary purposes on appropriate surfaces (e.g., wooden or plastic cutting boards, not directly on stone or ceramic).

5. Limitation of Liability While our products are designed for the slow ritual of daily living, they must be used responsibly and in accordance with our care instructions.

  • Vurante, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, injuries, or losses arising from the misuse, improper care, or alteration of any product purchased from our website.

  • The user assumes all risk and liability for the use of the products. In no event shall Vurante’s maximum liability exceed the purchase price of the product in question.
